The setting at Hemlock Ridge offers natural serenity that makes it perfect for a variety of occasions. Bridal luncheons, reaffirmation of vows, elopements, second weddings and commitment ceremonies. We can even assist with a solemn occasion such as a memorial service in a natural environment.
Our tiny “Singing Waters Chapel” holds only 12 guests and is truly sweet. It’s all white interior and leaded glass church windows overlooking directly the crystal clear trout stream. is perfect for those who seek the the ambiance it offers.
Hemlock Ridge is named for the hundreds of mountain hemlock trees on the property. The stately mountain home features chink log construction with interior elements that are truly unique and beautiful. The interior is framed in a technique called mortise and tenin with beams over 200 years old and natural wood walls reclaimed from slave cabins on a South Carolina plantation. A collection of art and antiques; crystal chandeliers and brilliant cut glass represent the mix of rustic and elegance.
Parking on the property is limited and requires use of an offsite area close by. We offer valet and shuttle services and the short drive is very pastoral.
